Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with an impressive record to join our talented Soho based team. You will be responsible for several of our feature teams, building our capability to pay creators, based on daily usage data from digital music services including Spotify, YouTube, TikTok and Apple Music.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage several engineering teams through hiring, coaching, feedback and hands-on career development
  • Work together with your product, technical and team leads to make reliable and sustainable software deliveries others can depend on
  • Manage your teams' dependencies and blockers, and keep them moving towards their goals
  • Maintain a balance within the teams to support software in production while continuing to deliver new features
  • Work with other leaders to build an agile, collaborative and improving organisation

  • Led complex engineering projects, and know how to deliver while maintaining a healthy team
  • Enjoy mentoring engineers and thrive when developing great people, not just great products
  • Take pride in your teams' ability to reliably deliver high quality software
  • Have hands-on experience delivering scalable, highly-available and performant software
  • Communicate effectively and are confident working with other teams
  • Strive to cultivate a strong engineering culture within an agile environment
